Obituary

The following obituary has been taken from a notice in Lake Angelus Hut (Nelson Lakes National Park).

Trampers will be saddened to learn of the recent death of one of our best known walkers amongst them - Someone Else. Someone's passing creates a gap that will be difficult to fill.
Else had tramped for years. At the huts she was always the one ready to sweep the floor and tidy up. Whenever a task needed doing, one name was always on everyone's lips - "Let Someone Else do it." It was common knowledge that Someone Else did far more than her share!
Always cheerfully taking on chores. Everyone assumed Someone Else would do the job. Someone Else was a wonderful person, appearing superhuman. But a person can only do so much. Were the truth known, everyone expected too much of Someone Else!
Now she is gone!!
We wonder what we are going to do; Someone Else left a wonderful example to follow, but who is going to do the things Someone Else did?
When the hut needs cleaning, remember . . .
We can't depend on Someone Else!

But you can't depend on her now she's dead, Julian. You will have to stir thy lazy bones and get thee to a vacuum cleaner!

Speaking of vaccum cleaners, did you know you can get robot ones that do it all for you. :P

In fact, I did. You do know however, that they happen to be horrendously expensive and are still inferior to "el classique" manual vacuuming. ;)

I think it's best to vaccuum manually. . . . . .that's if I'm not the one doing it. ;-D
